Enjoying the Wildlife ER event at the Otago Museum in Dunedin yesterday is Alice Bracey (9) with Foggy the tiger.
The Wildlife Hospital invited children to bring along a soft toy on which to practise applying bandages.
Wildlife Hospital Trust manager Jordana Whyte said it was a good activity to show children what the hospital did.
"Most young people have plush animals of their own and they identify with those animals, so it’s just a nice fit," she said.
The children were told about the hospital’s work and the animals it treated.
