Boy missing

Police are appealing for sightings of an 11-year-old Auckland boy missing since yesterday.

Detective Sergeant Megan Goldie, of Waitakere police, said Peniamina (Benjamin) Fuagata was last seen at a dairy in the Henderson suburb of Ranui about 4pm yesterday.

He was wearing a Bruce Mclaren Intermediate uniform of dark navy shorts, black shoes and a green PE t-shirt. He had a fake bling earring in his right ear, a number of coloured rubber bands on his right wrist and was carrying a black back pack.

The boy was described as being Samoan, about 1.3m tall and of slim build.

"He would normally take the train to Pooks Road in Ranui, go to the dairy there then walk home to Vanhest Way but on Friday he walked with a friend from school to Pooks Road in Ranui," Ms Goldie said.

"A friend has stated that he saw him near the dairy at around 4pm and that was the last sighting."

Anyone with information should contact the police.
