An MP's son is facing a charge of sexual violation.
The teenager is due to reappear in court in Tuesday when an application will be made to continue name suppression, the Herald on Sunday reported today.
He has been charged under Section 128a (1) of the Crimes Act, which relates to the issue of consent to sexual activity.
The accused first appeared in court on May 13, three days after the alleged incident.
