Las Vegas police have released the mug shot of the man accused of firing a shot at Australia's bronzed, buffed stripping troupe during a robbery backstage at their Tuesday night show at the Excalibur Casino.
And it appears the alleged robber came off second best.
The alleged gunman, yet to be named by police and charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon, may have had a loaded revolver but the photo proves the tanned, oiled-up lads from Australia must be pretty handy with their fists.
The incident happened about 9.30pm local time.
The Thunder from Down Under boys were midway through a performance of their popular show at the Excalibur on the Las Vegas strip when a couple of the members went backstage.
They found the accused allegedly going through their gear.
"There was some kind of altercation that took place in a back room behind the showroom, apparently with members of the cast," Las Vegas Police Department spokesperson Laura Meltzer told AAP.
"Then, during that altercation, the suspect is believed to have pulled out a firearm and fired at least one round that I know of.
"The information I received was nobody was hit by gun fire.
"The suspect was transported to the University Medical Center trauma centre to be treated for injuries received in the physical altercation and I don't know the nature of those injuries."
The alleged gunman, who will be named by police when they confirm his identity, has been charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon, attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary with a deadly weapon.
The Down Under boys all escaped injury, although one complained of getting some debris in an eye when the shot hit a wall and threw dust particles in the air.
While a little shaken, the lads, in what their website describes as "barely there costumes", went back on stage and finished the performance in front of screaming fans.
Even the dancer with the debris in his eye went back on stage.
Thunder From Down Under, dubbed as "Australia's hottest export", debuted in 1991 and has been one of the Las Vegas strip's most popular acts, with up to 11 performances a week on the strip.
