Five people have been injured after a car collided with a van in North Dunedin this morning.
A police spokesman said the crash happened at the intersection of George St and Union St West about 10.20am.
The road had been blocked for a time, but had since been cleared, he said.
The van had collided with a tree as well as the car.
A St John spokeswoman said of the five people injured, two had moderate injuries and three had minor injuries.
Two ambulances were on the scene and all injured were transported to Dunedin Hospital, she said.
