First five Kaea Nikora-Balloch dictated play in Invercargill with his kicking game.

The Southland Boys’ loose forwards controlled the breakdown and tackled hard.
Blindside Jackson Bevin made his presence felt and openside Aaron Withy got on the scoreboard with a try.
King’s had few opportunities and not a lot of territory.
In the middle four, St Kevin’s College edged South Otago High School 16-10 in Balclutha.
St Kevin’s will play Waitaki Boys’ High School in an all-Oamaru final after Waitaki proved too strong for Mt Aspiring College, winning 36-7 at home.
