Moody coast

Love of being at the beach and of nature was the inspiration for Kaikorai Valley College year 11 pupil Maia Gemmell (15) to create this work.

She used acrylic paint to create the landscape of Aramoana beach in Dunedin and used a gloomy colour palette to create the a moody atmosphere.
