The 53rd Alexandra Blossom Festival was "one out of the bag".
So says festival committee chairman Steve Battrick.
The week-long festival finished on a high note on Saturday night with the WoolOn creative fashion event.
"That was a fitting finale to what's been a wonderful festival - one out of the bag," Mr Battrick said.
"It's all gone very well and we're delighted. Everything has been well supported and we've been so lucky with the weather, aside from that first Friday."
"Thanks must go to a multitude of volunteers for their ongoing enthusiastic contribution, year after year."
This year's festival has been organised in conjunction with event managing company Innerwink.
"That all seems to have gone well and we'll be holding a debriefing during the next few days," Mr Battrick said.
He also hoped for a good attendance at the committee's annual meeting in February.
"I'd encourage the community to come along to that and have their say about the festival and what they like and what they don't. It's good to have a wide cross-section of the community at that meeting and get their opinion."
