An alternative take on the Government's proposed billion-dollar stimulus package will be presented in Wanaka today by Green Party MP Metiria Turei.
Ms Turei's presentation will outline the party's "Green New Deal" package, which is aimed at engaging New Zealand's economic issues from an environmental perspective, before next month's budget.
Ms Turei's presentation starts at noon and runs until 1.30pm, at the Lake Wanaka Centre.
