The whole school took to the field yesterday for "Relay Our Way", a take on the Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
Schools throughout Otago have adapted the traditional community fundraiser in the wake of Covid-19, with Dunstan picking up the baton for the first time.
Organised by the school’s service committee "Relay Our Way" saw pupils compete in a range of relay-related activities from inflatable obstacle course to frisbee golf, dodgeball and egg and spoon race.

Pupils had been planning the event since the start of the term and it was good to see it all come together, Service Committee leader Isla Melton said.
"Since Covid has happened we have to adjust it a wee bit.
"Today’s going really good, we’re really happy with the people who have got involved, we’re raising lots of money and we’ve got a Givealitte set up so we’re very happy with the outcome.
"We just want to thank everyone that’s been involved."
The event yesterday raised more than a thousand dollars for the Cancer Society, and the Givealittle page is set to stay open until the end of April.
