A "disorientated" man with moderate injuries has been found wandering in Central Otago following an early morning car crash.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown, of Dunedin, said police found the disorientated 55-year-old Balclutha man on Beaumont Station Rd in Millers Flat about 4am.
He was taken by ambulance to Dunstan Hospital for assessment.
Snr Sgt Brown said the man had walked some distance after crashing a car and could not help police with where it had happened.
Police found the crash scene after the man was taken to hospital.
The man was the only person in the car.
A St John ambulance spokesman said he had suffered moderate injuries.
