The first of Ranfurly's two market days this year attracted hundreds of people on Saturday.
Held at the Ranfurly Railway Station, the market comprised about 20 stalls offering entertainment, food, crafts, artwork, jewellery and information on organisations such as the Red Cross.
Easter chocolate raffles, home baking, cheese rolls, and sushi were crowd favourites.
Artist Grahame Sydney signed copies of his latest book, and groups from the town took the chance to raise funds for different projects.
The town's volunteer radio station, Burn 729am, took over the running of the event, and most of the funds generated from the market as well as another on Labour Day will help the radio station purchase a generator to power its new transmitter.
Burn 729am food stalls raised $600 on Saturday.
