Highlands Motorsport Park owner Tony Quinn has not added the Hampton Downs Motorsport Park to his property portfolio.
Motorsport site Velocity NZ reported yesterday Mr Quinn had apparently paid about $13.5 million for the north Waikato motorsport facility race facility but Highlands manager Mike Sentch said that was incorrect.
''I talked to Tony about that today and he just laughed and said it hadn't happened,'' Mr Sentch said yesterday.
''There's no doubt he's been interested in Hampton Downs but he hasn't bought it. We'd certainly know about it.''
