Under the recommended agreement both clubs would lease the pavilion for five years at a rate of $290 a year plus GST.
The agreement would also allow two rights of renewal for another five years, the final expiry date to be in June 2040.
Cromwell Senior Football Club president Shane Norton spoke in support of the lease at the meeting’s public forum on behalf of Cromwell Junior Football Club president Simon Peake.

"We see a lease agreement as a critical requirement for the maintenance to occur."
At the full council meeting on July 30, the CCB’s recommended lease of the Neplusultra Recreation Reserve’s bike park to Cromwell Bike Park Inc was ratified by the council. The previous lease was up for renewal.
The new lease will cost the Cromwell Bike Park $1 a year over 15 years and there is the option to renew it for another 15 years.
