Lorraine David of Waikouaiti, a member of the East Otago Lions Club, has been awarded a Melvin Jones fellowship.
The citation mentioned her service to Lions clubs in Queenstown and Palmerston, her community service in the Waikouaiti area, as well as her voluntary work with Age Concern, the Progress of the Waikouaiti Area group newsletter and the East Otago Youth Trust.
