Fundraising for penguin rehab

Penguin Rescue volunteer Jan Carter (left) and manager Rosalie Goldsworthy were in Oamaru yesterday raising money for penguin rehabilitation.

Last year, the Moeraki charitable trust rehabilitated 85 yellow-eyed penguins for an average 21 days each. It cost $5 a day to feed each penguin.
