The East Otago High School gala day held at Palmerston on Sunday raised just over $5000 towards a third minibus to carry school sports teams.
Almost half the 184 pupils from years 7 to 13 represent East Otago High School at interschool, provincial and national level.
About 300 people attended the gala.
