Last week, a postcard addressed only to ''Grandma'', 40 Fortification Rd, Kakanui turned up in Jane Green's mailbox.
The address 40 Fortification Rd does not exist - Mrs Green lives nearby, at 45 Fortification Rd.
The postcard is signed ''Jeremy'' and appears to have been sent from Bolivia on December 8, 2014.
Mrs Green is keen to solve the mystery and let ''Grandma'' read of her grandson Jeremy's travels.
She has visited neighbours at the Kakanui end of Fortification Rd, but has so far had no luck identifying the recipient or the sender.
''Fortification Rd is quite a long rural road leading from Kakanui to Weston,'' she said.
''There's nothing that identifies [anyone] ... I thought `I don't know what to do with this'.''
She contacted the Otago Daily Times for help, after reading the stories about a mystery letter containing a Christmas card and photos, addressed only to ''granny'' in Karitane, successfully finding its way to Warrington woman Lynley Beard.
Mrs Green said she would be quite happy to deliver the postcard to its rightful recipient.
