The new Waihemo Community Board was sworn in by Waitaki District Council chief executive Michael Ross at the inaugural board meeting at Palmerston this week.
Re-elected members Geoff Foote of Flag Swamp and Ken Brown of Palmerston were elected chairman and deputy chairman respectively.
The other members of the board are: Jane Carlyon, of Moeraki; Waitaki District councillor Kathy Dennison; Heather McGregor, of Palmerston; and Paul Roy, of Nenthorn.
