A fire in the Queenstown Lakes district suburb of Ben Lomond damaged a two-storey home early this morning.
The fire occurred on Alpine Retreat Rd around 5.30am, a Southern Fire Communications spokesman said.
Three appliances responded to the blaze.
"They've said it's a moderate fire on the second level of a dwelling."
There were no reports of injuries, the spokesman said.
The cause of the fire was currently unknown.
