Principal Ben Witheford said it would open on February 5 with an afternoon barbecue for pupils and their families, while the 75 children would have their first full day on February 9.
The campus would be a busy place until then, with builders and contractors ''on track'' to complete their work, and furniture and equipment beginning to arrive next week.
''It's going to be a tight timeframe from when the builders hand over the keys and the children start.''
The school was opening for years 1 to 4 this year, with the majority of enrolments in years 1 and 2. It would open to children in years 5 to 8 next year.
Mr Witheford said he and two associate principals took up their roles about the middle of last year, while the rest of the eight-strong teaching staff would begin an ''intensive'' two-week induction period next week.
Although predicting roll growth was difficult, the pre-enrolment process had indicated 145 pupils would join the school this year.
''I would expect anywhere between 150 and 200 by the end of the year.''
The school uniform will distinct from that of other schools in the district, with a main colour of cyan blue and green accents on the shoulders.
