Pupils in years 7 to 13 were invited to sign up for the daily activities organised by youth workers based in the former X-it Youth Centre in Stanley St.
Horse riding for all abilities at Moke Lake is set for Monday, from noon to 3pm, for $15. A camp-out in Bannockburn, with games including paintball and a barbecue, is down for 1pm Tuesday to 3pm Wednesday, for $50.
The renovated and newly equipped Youth Booth opens its doors to the public for the first time on Thursday at 1pm to 5.30pm. Entry is free.
Friday will involve a $5 per youth "baking extravaganza" with the help of "culinary extraordinaires", using the centre's new kitchen.
