Queenstown Golf Club members Ben Harford (13) and Terry Kim (13) took part in the club's Cancer Society of New Zealand & The First Tee of New Zealand charity golf tournament yesterday.

The tournament was to help raise funds for the Cancer Society and The First Tee of New Zealand organisations.

More than 72 golfers turned out for the 18-hole tournament while six others played in the gruelling 100-hole tournament in hot conditions.

The tournament raised more than $6000.
