This afternoon the inaugural Break One - Fat Tyre Autumn Biathlon will begin at 1pm.
The event, being billed as a New Zealand first, will see teams of two ride a short loop track on mountain bikes before shooting five clay "laser" targets.
Later this afternoon a high tea will be held at the St John's Church hall, before the main event tonight - an evening with Annabelle White celebrating autumn food at the Athenaeum Hall. The festival continues until Sunday.
