About 2000 items were up for sale at the Queenstown Events Centre, including skiing and snowboarding gear, clothing and ex-rental and ex-demo gear.
Club “chief paper pusher” Sharla Franklin said the crowd appeared to be bigger this year, resulting in sales revenue up about 10% on last year.
All profits would go into the maintenance of the club’s lodge at Coronet Peak, she said.
Coronet Peak is opening its beginners’ area, and sightseeing gondola, on Friday.
Full operations on the mountain start on June 13, with The Remarkables and Cardrona Alpine Resort opening the same day.
