Protesters call on govt to ‘demand ceasefire’ in Gaza

Attending a peaceful protest on Queenstown’s Village Green yesterday are members of the Queenstown branch of the Palestinian Support Network Aotearoa, residents and supporters who are calling for peace in Palestine.

The rally included candle-lighting and "letter writing to remember our fallen", and was aimed at shedding light on the war in Gaza, while also calling on the New Zealand government to "demand a ceasefire".
