The Queenstown school was a sea of national flags yesterday as children and staff dressed in costumes to represent a country of their choice for the "Parade of Nations".
Hundreds of children marched around the school grounds to the sound of bagpipes as they sang and waved their flags in the air.
Children and staff brought a selection of traditional food from around the world for everyone to try as they celebrated the International Food Festival at the same time.
Pupil Tyler Love (7) said there was a "tsunami of food" on display.
The school received a grant from the Asian Foundation to help fund the week of events.
