They are often the first faces to greet visitors to Clutha and now they are officially up with there with the best.
The Clutha I-Site (Clutha Information Centre) edged out more than 40 similar-sized centres to win the Intercity Agent of the Year award for 2007-08 in the Visitor Information Network's "small" category.
The information centre, next to the Balclutha War Memorial Hall, has tens of thousands of visitors every year.
Clutha I-Site officer Angela Anderson was at last week's national I-Site conference in Auckland to receive the national award.
The Intercity agent of the year is awarded for outstanding sales and excellent customer service to Intercity clients.
