Time is running out for Lawrence district voters to enrol for the upcoming by-election.
The resignation of former Lawrence-Tuapeka Community Board member Nick Salt prompted the Clutha District Council to call a by-election to fill the vacancy.
Clutha-Southland registrar of electors Sue Skelt said the electoral roll for the by-election closed on Monday, December 22.
"Only those people who are correctly enrolled by the time the electoral roll has closed will get voting papers in the mail,"Ms Skelt advised.
Anyone not on the roll can get an enrolment form by calling 0800 ENROL NOW (0800 36 76 56).
The postal by-election will close on February 10.
