A competition to find a name for a new north Balclutha subdivision has drawn 34 suggestions.
The Clutha District Council also asked the public to name the three streets and two reserves in the subdivision.
The 27ha subdivision is bordered by Johnston Rd and McNeill St at the north end of Balclutha and offers a variety of residential and lifestyle sections. The development includes roads, footpaths, cycleways and walkways.
The 19 entries were made up of 34 suggestions for the overall subdivision, 55 suggested names for the streets and 31 names for the reserves.
The council will make a decision on the names on September 22.
