Southern District Police have quickly managed to track down the owners of a haul of stolen presents.
Police tonight posted on Facebook saying the haul of presents were located off Charlotte St in Balclutha.
"We would love to reunite these stolen presents with their rightful owners before Santa starts his deliveries."
Asked for more detail about the stolen presents, a police spokeswoman said the owners had contacted police and would be reunited with their stolen presents soon.
Police said the gifts were reported stolen by the owners on December 2 from their Argyle St garage.
Inquiries are continuing and no arrests had been made yet.
