A cyclist has been hit by a car in central Invercargill this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said they received a call at 4.40pm.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Clyde and Forth Sts. The south-bound lane was closed and traffic management was in place.
An ambulance crew was at the scene assessing the cyclist.
