Four Gore youths have been arrested following a spate of crimes in Southland on Friday.
A police spokesman said the youths, aged 12, 14, 15 and 16, were arrested in relation to a burglary at Stadium Southland, in Invercargill, a stolen motor vehicle from Gore, a number of vehicles broken into at the Woodlands garage and damage in the Woodlands township.
The offences occurred on Friday morning, August 11.
Three of the youths appeared in the Invercargill Youth Court on Friday afternoon, charged with burglary, theft from a car, wilful damage, unlawfully interfering with a motor vehicle, and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle.
They were remanded on bail to Gore, he said.
"A fourth was referred to Youth Aid Section in Gore."
