A tramper with moderate injuries has been airlifted from Mt Aspiring National Park.

The 24-year-old woman was hurt in an accident and transported by an Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter from Young Hut, on the Gillespie Pass Circuit, about 8.30am on Saturday.

She was taken to  Lakes District Hospital in Queenstown.
