International companies are returning to Warbirds Over Wanaka this Easter, as preparations for the 30th Anniversary event continue to accelerate.

Longtime principal partner Air BP, which has supported the event since it began in 1988, returns once more, as does Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft Pty Ltd, for its second consecutive show.

Air BP became involved in the show as the principal refueller at Wanaka Airport and has provided a significant financial contribution over the years.

German shipping giant Hamburg-Sud, along with New Zealand's Mainfreight, are acknowledged by the Warbirds team as big supporters of the show by bringing the aircraft from around the world to Wanaka.

Warbirds general manager Ed Taylor said that without the support of the two companies, organisers simply would not be able to afford to get some of the aircraft to New Zealand.

Other companies at the show are Hawker Pacific, Cirrus, and Bremont Watch Company, which is sponsoring the Bremont Spitfire Tribute.
