Big Sing choirs go head to head

The Big Sing Choral Festival was in Dunedin on Monday and then headed south to Invercargill yesterday.

Seven choirs from Southland secondary schools, including Verdon College (above) and Southland Girls’ High School (below), performed three songs each representing different musical styles.

The schools were vying to represent Murihiku at the Big Sing Finale, which will be held at the Michael Fowler Centre, in Wellington, in August.
