Cricket: McCullum blasts Volts to win

Brendan McCullum played a captain's knock to lead the Otago Volts to victory in their opening Champions League qualifying game in India this morning.

McCullum blasted an unbeaten 83 as the Volts scored 143 for two to beat the Faisalabad Wolves by eight wickets.

Some accurate fast bowling from Ian Butler and James McMillan had helped Otago restrict Faisalabad, which won the toss, to 139 for eight batting first.
