
It is from a scrapbook put together by prominent Dunedin dance teacher Robyn Sinclair for a school project many years ago.
Her mother, Betty Sinclair (nee Butler), is the main protagonist. Betty toured England with the New Zealand women's in 1954. Among the many wonderful memories was the above picture.
Betty's brother, Jim Butler, inspired by news of the Otago Sparks' one-day title win, dropped the scrapbook off to the Otago Daily Times.
