Football: Uruguay will be first to land in South

They are coming.

Arrival schedules have been confirmed for the teams Dunedin will host in the Fifa Under-20 World Cup.

All four group D teams - Mexico, Mali, Uruguay and Serbia - arrive at Dunedin International Airport next week.

Each will be greeted by the Dunedin Pipe Band, which will form a guard of honour and pipe the team through to a cultural welcome that will include a haka and waiata.

On Monday, Uruguay (5.25pm) is the first to come to the South, followed just hours later by Mexico (8.50pm).

Both Mali (9.20am) and Serbia (5.25pm) arrive on Wednesday.

The first games in Dunedin - Mexico v Mali (1pm) and Uruguay v Serbia (4pm) - are on Sunday, May 31.
