Manly lock Glenn Stewart said there was no chance of the NRL's second-placed team taking the embattled Parramatta Eels lightly on Saturday night.
The Eels come into the clash at Parramatta Stadium after being humiliated 56-6 by South Sydney but Stewart is expecting the home side to be more like the one the Sea Eagles scored a late and "lucky" victory over in round 15.
"I'm very wary of Parra ... we were at that stage a few years ago where we weren't going that well consistently and I know that each loss you have means you are closer to a win," he said.
"Apart from that (Souths) game, they've actually been playing some good footy.
"It dates back a while, the rivalry between these two clubs ... they always seem to be pretty good showings. We had a tough game at Brookvale early on in the year where we were pretty lucky to get the win and I'm sure they haven't forgotten that game either."
In round 15, brilliant Manly five-eighth Kieran Foran broke Parramatta's hearts with a 77th-minute try to give the Sea Eagles a 22-18 win.
