Uni Albion A continued its seemingly inexorable march towards the Dunedin premier club title when it dealt College A a fatal blow, winning 72-48 at the Edgar Centre on Saturday.

Uni Albion's Jodi Brown, at goal shoot, had another impressive shooting display, netting 47 from 52 attempts (90%).

In the opening stanza, College started strongly and settled quickly into its work. Uni Albion, on the other hand, eased into the match, taking the quarter to warm up to the contest. Uni Albion led 15-11 at the break.

In a high-scoring second quarter, Uni Albion upped the ante, amassing 21 goals to College's 15. The halftime score had Uni Albion leading 36-26.

The fast-paced 15 minutes of the second quarter was hard to match in the third, with both teams opting for a slower, more deliberate style. This no-risk netball saw the quarter drawn 14-14, College making no inroads into its 10-goal deficit.

In the final 15 minutes, Uni Albion again surged, with a high-paced, open netball display that College struggled to match. Uni Albion took the final quarter 22-8.

In other matches, Southern A beat its B side 78-44 while PhysEd B beat PhysEd A in a close encounter, 44-42.
