Courtney Duncan (motocross) and Jordan Donaldson (BMX) both won New Zealand junior titles.
It was the first time at the top of a national podium for Jordan, an 11-year-old St Leonard's School pupil.
She dominated the 11-year girls section at the national junior BMX championships on the North Shore.
Jordan, who had been seeded second going into the event, won all six of the preliminary races and then sealed a perfect weekend by winning the final.
"She's pretty happy," Greg Donaldson, Jordan's father, said yesterday.

Her excitement at winning the national title will have to give way to renewed focus and training as she prepares for some camps before going to Australia with the New Zealand junior team in June.
It was a family affair at the weekend, with Oliver Donaldson - Jordan's 8-year-old brother - reaching his first national final and placing seventh in the 9-year boys section.
A third Dunedin rider, Hamish Burrow (13), also made a national final for the first time. He finished eighth in the 14-year boys grade.
Also on two wheels, though powered by more than just her legs, there was yet another trophy for Palmerston speed queen Courtney Duncan at the weekend.
She dominated the 13-16 years 855 class at the national junior motocross championships in Tokoroa, again proving too quick for the best of the boys.
Duncan, the Australian junior champion last year and sixth in the world in 2009, helped South Island riders dominate the event.
Hamish Harwood (Takaka), Micah McGoldrick (Rangiora) and James Ree (Rangiora) each secured national titles.
