Rising Dunedin star Alexis Owen has been selected for another appearance for New Zealand at the world junior championships.
Owen, a silver medallist at the national championships and coming off four straight wins in the NZ Grom Series, has been picked to surf in the under-16 boys division in El Salvador later this year.
He was part of the New Zealand team that placed 10th at the world junior championships in Brazil last year.
