Wanaka's Piera Hudson and Queenstown Olympian Adam Barwood were the standout New Zealand performers at the Australia New Zealand Continental Cup races.
Hudson (18), the national champion for women's giant slalom and slalom, came away with the overall GS yellow bib.
The bib is awarded to the top performing southern hemisphere female and male competitors in the race series, which includes other races at Mt Hutt and Australia's Mt Hotham.
''I'm really happy to have won the bib. It was one of the goals for the season and probably the most important one to set myself up for the northern hemisphere season,'' Hudson said.
The bib allows the holder a top 31 start position on the Europa Cup and NorAm circuit for the season.
Hudson finished 19th and 23rd in two GS races over the four days of racing at Coronet Peak, with podiums dominated by top skiers from powerhouse nations such as Norway, Austria and the US.
Queenstown's Adam Barwood (22), who won the national slalom championship title at Coronet Peak last month, had another solid week of racing. He finished seventh in the GS on Wednesday and eighth in Saturday's slalom.
Twizel's Willis Feasley, current national GS champ, was 13th in Friday's slalom. Invercargill's Elizabeth Reid (16) finished 19th of 46 in the women's slalom, her first season in International Ski Federation (FIS) racing.
