Storm Light is set to regain winning form at Forbury Park tonight after a third in the Premier Mares Championship at Addington last Friday.

Storm Light recorded her sixth minor placing in 10 starts this season when third to Carabella and Bettor Cover Lover in the Championship.

She had her previous win at Wyndham 13 months ago in a heat of the Southern Belle Speed series when she ran the mile in 1.58.3.

Elation Franco, who ran third that day, is among the rivals for Storm Light tonight.

Elation Franco has been served by Grinfromeartoear, since she last raced on October 16 when second to Hannah, who ran a 1.54.4 mile at Winton.

"She was supposed to go to the New Zealand Cup meeting but she got a cold so we gave her a a few weeks off and took the opportunity to serve her early in December," Peter Hunter, her trainer said.

"She has taken a while to come up but she seemed like her old self when she won a trial at Invercargill last week."

Elation Franco has gained two of her eight wins at Forbury Park.

Maddison Renee has won her last two starts and she should be prominent from a handy draw.
