Supabet, winner of two of his four starts, is now in the Ohoka stable of Paul Kerr, after a change of ownership.

Supabet, previously trained by Cran Dalgety for Vicki Purdon, is in the Sires' Stakes heat at Forbury Park on Thursday night.

The Bettor's Delight-Super Smooth gelding was a last-start winner at Addington on September 13 after clearing maiden ranks at Rangiora two starts earlier.

He has been bought by Ray Fleetwood, of Wellington, Keith Ovens, of Christchurch, Tony Dickinson, of Waiau Pa; Brian Hall (Wellington) and Jack Poppleton (Auckland).

Messrs Dickinson, Fleetwood and Ovens are in the ownership of Alta Christiano, the smart 2yr-old last season trained by Kerr.

Alta Christiano pleased Kerr when finishing third in his first trial in a fresh preparation at Rangiora yesterday.

"He will have another two workouts or trials and contest the last two heats of the Sires' Stakes [both at Addington]," Kerr said.

Alta Christiano won the New Zealand Kindergarten Stakes at Wyndham, a Sires' Stakes at Forbury Park and the Yearling Sales Graduate at Addington.

He finished third to Five Card Draw and Abraxas in the Yearling Sales Final. The Christian Cullen colt missed the Harness Jewels in June after he contracted a lung infection four days before the series.

A Perth syndicate, comprising patrons of the stable of Gary Hall, the trainer of Themightyquinn, will join the ownership of Alta Christiano when he returns to racing.

Ged's Courage has been sold out of the Kerr stable to Australia. The Courage Under Fire gelding has won three races including his last start at Addington.

Real Kamwood will accompany Supabet to Forbury Park.

Real Kamwood resumed racing with an easy win at Forbury Park on September 21. He won four times as a 3yr-old last season.

• Trainer Graeme Anderson has decided to race Jinky Johnson at Forbury Park on Thursday night. The 4yr-old won fresh up at Ascot Park on Friday and he is unbeaten in three starts.

He was nominated for a junior drivers race at Addington on Friday night.

• Kotare Yaakov confirmed the worth of surgery on his front knees when he won on Friday night. He has won his two starts after 12 months away from racing. The 5yr-old entire underwent surgery to have bone chips removed from both knees after winning five races from the Mark Purdon stable.

Kotare Yaakov was transferred to Robert Dunn for beach training in a fresh preparation.

• Choise Achiever beat his stablemate Stunin Cullen by a neck at the Rangiora trials yesterday. The last 800m was run in 55.7, the final 400m in 27 on a 2.05.8 mile rate.
