Jemma Adams has been appointed chief executive of the Otago Community Trust.

Ms Adams, who is general manager of Dunedin City Holdings Ltd, replaces Barbara Bridger, who resigned at the beginning of the year to become chief executive of the Central Lakes Trust.

She held senior managerial roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Parliamentary Service before taking the role at Dunedin City Holdings.

Ms Adams, who will start her role in early September, said it was a "real privilege" to be the third chief executive since the organisation was founded in 1988.
