National president Graham Crombie, of Dunedin, said the NZICA was founded in Dunedin in 1908.
As part of its centennial celebrations, the Otago branch had decided to honour its distinguished members with a commemorative pin and a luncheon.
About 15 people nationally are inducted as fellows each year, and the 30,000-member association has about 550 fellows.
Mr Crombie said fellows were honoured for their skills and contribution to the profession.
Those recognised in Dunedin yesterday were: Robert Booth, Roy Broad, John Chronican, Barry Clarke, Paul Pedofski, Stephen Higgs, Steve Brocklebank, Patrick Heslin, Ross Smith, Bill Thomson, Brian Dodds, John Gilks, Leslie Green, Shirley Jones, Huia Ockwell, Barry Mackenzie,
Boris Popoff, Philip George, George Morton and Percy Wellington.
