Mr Wilson was most recently BNZ’s director of securitisation orginations and is a member of the Australian Securitisation Forum as a New Zealand subcommittee member.
In a statement, MTF chief executive Chris Lamers said Mr Wilson brought extensive securitisation and treasury experience in senior positions across Australasia and the United Kingdom and he was delighted to have someone of Mr Wilson’s calibre joining the team.
"Fraser’s impressive knowledge of securitisation and funding strategies, strong legal background, credibility and reputation within the securitisation industry will bring real value to our investors and stakeholders," Mr Lamers said.
MTF was relaunching its dealer product as well as entering the personal loan market through its national network of 49 franchise offices, he said.
As a result, it was expecting a period of strong growth and Mr Wilson would be a key part of enabling that growth.
