The Prime Minister has revealed another hidden skill.

Neve Te Aroha Ardern Gayford turned one yesterday and while her mother has stayed mum on any party, she has revealed she made a cute bunny rabbit cake.

[[{"type":"instagram_post_url","src":"https://www.instagram.com/p/By_4s3VA8FM/","odtEmbed":true}]]Ardern posted photo of her creation on Instagram this afternoon, with the caption: "I may be smiling but about an hour earlier I was not enjoying the first birthday cake making experience (like just about every parent I know!) I recommend cakes that you can legitimately cover in coconut - it hides almost everything. Happy Birthday wee Neve!"

Yesterday, Ardern posted an image of retro Woman's Weekly cake-making book on Instagram.

She wrote: "Doing what so many parents have done before me. Waited till baby was in bed before trying to magic up a passable cake for the big first birthday. Wish me luck."

It's been a whole year since Ardern and her fiance Clarke Gayford became parents to Neve, born in Auckland on June 21, 2018.

[[{"type":"instagram_post_url","src":"https://www.instagram.com/p/By9yyGEAnAI/","odtEmbed":true}]]Her proud parents revealed on Twitter yesterday that his daughter received one very special gift: a Buzzy Bee from Prince William, with whom Neve shares her birthday.

"Torn between letting the 1st birthday girl continue to maul this amazing gift or putting it somewhere safe FOREVER," Gayford wrote on Twitter, alongside two photos of the quintessential Kiwi toy.

The buzzy bee was among dozens of baby gifts the Prime Minister received, in her official capacity and from royalty and heads of state, throughout her baby daughter's first year.

Give us a break kiwibuild collapsed billion trees fiasco and the list goes on and get this spin to change the narrative. You cant fool all of the people

Philip = All we got from John Key was wider smiles and no humanity.
Alan = John Key fooled most of the people.
The truth is, we are now screaming out for workers. Regions are now buzzing. More cops now being employed and the traffic squads are back up to the numbers before JK got rid of them. Nurses & teachers are getting the recognition they didn't get previously. We now have new rescue helicopters everywhere. The 2 ambulance services are getting more funding. Mental health is finally getting addressed. School fees are being abolished in lower deciles. Dunedin will get a brand new hospital without a private partnership. Rail is being boosted including new electric locos (that the Nats were going to scrap) AND we are not borrowing the amounts that JK did.
Philip & Alan = were you aware that JK’s tax cuts were going to be funded by more borrowing – that’s on top of the 90 Bil for his “rock star” economy.
Jacinda can bake me a cake anytime or is it a case of “men don’t like young women in power”??
